HEY!!!! 

This has been a long time coming. I've always said I wanted to make a blog, except I never wanted anyone to read it. A secret blog! Genius, right? Well, come to find out, that's what most people call a journal. Of course, I have kept a journal for years! Clearly something was not being fulfilled by these private journals. I realized that the missing piece was sharing my writing with the world. I've spent a lot of time rereading some of my entries and cackling to myself at how unintentionally funny my life is. Or maybe it's not my life that is funny, it is just the way I interpret life. Either way, I think it is worthwhile to make a blog of it.

So that, my friends, is the gift I would like to share with the world through this blog. Even in the darkest of times, leave it to me to find something to laugh about.  I am not sure what to even tell you what this blog will consist of. Maybe some serious, maybe some (or a lot) of sarcasm. Most importantly, my hope is that my readers (hi Shelly Beck) find comfort in knowing that there is humor in everything. You just have to find it. This is where, as an official blogger, I am obligated to leave you with some sort of profound, inspirational quote.
